As WWI has come to a striking conclusion, the allied nations – and friends – enjoy a
baguette and tea in Paris. Whilst reparations were briefly addressed, the topic that took up
the most time was future action. Truly, it made sense. How else would they stop such a
tragic event from repeating itself?
As they discuss, Japan stands tall and proud. Their most trusted allies watch proudly.
“Thousands have died, hundreds of our most trusted soldiers have fallen- yet we allow
the most powerful to rally against us?”.’
After the war, Germany, Japan, Greece and our fellow independent nations paid hundreds
of thousands in reparations and damages. They sought to prevent such violence from ever
plaguing their nations again. And such began – the conference.
Initially, it didn’t seem so bad. An international alliance and funding to prevent our
fellow from falling. To build eachother up and support each other when resources
dwindled and crime skyrocketed. That was until the fine print was revealed.
This alliance would be limited- exclusively to the western, central nations. When this was
revealed, Japan would develop a face like they’d just eaten something sour. Other nations
would follow thereafter.
The exact moment they decided to make this alliance official is unknown to everyone but
them because they choose to keep secrets from everyone – including their own countries'
press. While we may be a UK based station, we aren’t and never have been in favour of
an isolationist based nation.
If this continues, the only possible outcome is that the UK’s international relations with
our fellow nations crumble and become a shell of what they used to be. Despite every
harsh world, the only true solution for our individual government is to open this alliance
to the public and improve the accessibility, compassion and freedom of our proud nation.
