With the recent creation of a vaccine that could potentially cure the spiculum virus pandemic, the world celebrates its success in preventing human extinction once more again. However, amongst this success, an anonymous group of Russian agents reportedly infiltrated the research lab and stole the newly invented vaccine. The stolen goods were also injected with poison, further preventing human use. What is more, the key researcher of this project was also kidnapped by this group, effectively prohibiting global joint research efforts to reinvent the vaccine.
Many delegates of the international community responded with disappointment, with some nations such as China taking radical actions like combining nuclear arsenals with the United States of America, many non-nuclear powers fear the potential of a nuclear war and begins to suggest moderate actions to punish the saboteur like halting trade with the Russian Federation.
As mutually assured destruction becomes a feasible option, the D.P.R.K (North Korea) urges the nuclear powers around the world to unite in a nuclear war against Russia. Despite this, the Russian delegate responded with an unserious manner, claiming the country to be capable of participating in such a conflict.
“We have like what, 5500 nukes? About 200 countries? Should be fine,” the delegate representing the Russian Federation playfully said, stating their confidence on a potential mutually assured destruction.
Many fear the destruction that this war will bring as delegates scramble to retrieve the vaccines.
