As the Black Death rampantly spreads across the Americas, many start to wonder: What is the cause of this crisis? King George - the king of the British Empire - may be able to provide an answer to this query.

With the war in the Americas becoming a major threat towards the British Empire both politically and economically, the problem was further worsened when a new pandemic swept across the continent, torturing many lives in local regions. Interestingly, the pandemic supposedly had appeared sometime after the American revolution had began, leading many to suspect that the virus was a work of god, however, many debate over the true intentions of god when creating this disaster.

During a conference between key political figures of North America that happened earlier today, King George revealed his claim for which the black death was a punishment from god to those who were disloyal to him, for which he was chosen by heaven to lead England under god’s will. Although this claim quickly became irrelevant in the discussion due to the existence of more concerning topics, the theory was well-recieved by fellow British figures who decided that America should pay for the consequences and that the British Empire was under the protection of god.

Whatever the effects of this declaration may be, the black death continues to spread at large, affecting both the Americans and the British.
